I didn’t make that up; I read it on an inspirational poster in a bookstore.  But it’s undeniably true when it comes to wonderful things like love, friendship and joy.

It’s also true on less-wonderful things like loss, depression and negativity.

And then there’s work…

Which begs the question: when you focus on work, do you focus on the wonderful or the less so?

The former can be expansive.  The latter?  Devastating.
